Honey Glazed Creamy Chicken Thighs with Veggies Recipe

Hey Glow Getters! If you love chicken and are looking for a new way to prepare it, then this honey glazed creamy chicken thighs recipe is the move if I must say so myself. I served this over white rice and with a side of pretzel bread drizzled in honey butter.

chicken thighs recipe

INGREDIENTS:

8 boneless skinless chicken thighs

McCormick Chicken Seasoning

Goya Adobo All Purpose Seasoning

Breadcrumbs

Minced garlic

1/4 cup of onion, finely chopped

1/2 cup of spinach

1/2 of a tomato, finely chopped

1/2 cup of bell peppers, finely chopped

2 Artichoke Hearts

Honey, to taste

Pretzel Bread

Butter

Grapeseed Oil

Heavy Whipping Cream

RECIPE

1) Clean chicken thighs and season with McCormick Chicken Seasoning and Goya Adobo All Purpose Seasoning, and coat the topside with breadcrumbs.

2) Heat 1 teaspoon of grapeseed oil in a skillet. Add in the seasoned chicken thighs and minced garlic, and cook on medium heat until thoroughly cooked (about 15+ minutes and flip halfway through so both sides are browned). Transfer the the chicken thighs to a plate and drizzle with a little honey.

3) In another skillet, heat a 1/2 teaspoon of grapeseed oil and cook all the veggies, stirring frequently for about 5 minutes.

4) In a dutch oven (preferred) or large skillet, place half of the cooked veggies in the bottom and add 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream. Add in the cooked chicken and top with the remaining half of the cooked veggies.

5) Let the creamy chicken and veggie mixture cook for about 15 minutes over medium heat. Add more heavy whipping cream if needed to ensure you have a good amount of sauce, but not too much to avoid it being overly soupy.

6) Serve the chicken and veggies over white rice. Pair it with a piece of bread. My personal favorite for this meal is pretzel bread that I drizzle in warm honey butter.
