God, Goals, Grow, Glow
Hey Glow Getters! I’m claiming that today is and will be a wonderful Wednesday! In the midst of all that has been going on in our world, I’m doing my best to stay positive. I’ll be honest, personally I’ve been struggling the past few days to balance everything on my plate. Being honest about it is half the battle, and I’m working on doing more about it. I’m sure I’m not alone, so I’ll pray for y’all and y’all pray for me — deal?!
Speaking of prayer, can I just say God is good! I know I just said I was struggling, but that doesn’t change the fact that God is good. 2020 has been a lot in just 6 months, but in spite of it God has really been good. I’ve been working on journaling my answered prayers and the things I’m grateful for, so that I can reflect back on them. When I look at this list, it makes me smile and melts some of that anxiety I deal with. In this season of life, I’m personally trying to keep my focus on God, my purpose and goals, growing and glowing. So much so, I’ve put it on a t-shirt, so I don’t forget and you don’t either.
This message is not just for me, but for all of us to be reminded to:
keep the faith
do the work
keep evolving and bettering ourselves
shine bright like God created us to

I did a podcast interview last week, and the host asked about me about knowing what things to execute on. I shared with her about those gentle or sometimes persistent nudges that God will give us on our journey to guide us. Starting this brand and blog was definitely one of those nudges for me that I kept getting and finally executed on. Grateful that is a goal I can check off, and I’m excited for the growth in me that will come from this journey. What has God been gently or persistently nudging you to do?
