Fall 2021 Bucket List

Happy First Day of Fall! There are only 100 days left in the year, and I intend to make them count. What that means for me is a mix of running and resting, having fun, taking care of me, spending time with loved ones, working on some projects, and trying new things. Below are 10 things on my Fall bucket list, and this year I made sure to make them all attainable.

1 — Get a prenatal massage and a facial

I absolutely love massages and facials. I tend to go to the spa a few times a year. I haven’t had a massage since I’ve been pregnant, and Lord knows I could use one. Now that I’m in the second trimester, it’s time for a prenatal massage. I have a Robert Andrew gift card that I can’t wait to use.

2 — Fall Fun with the kids

Last year, we enjoyed pumpkin picking, hot apple cider donuts (yum!) Fall festivals, decorating the front porch for Fall, Halloween fun and more. We plan to run back some of those activities again, and plan to add some more. This is the last season where it will be just Cam and Cass, so I plan to make it extra special for them. I’ll share what we’re up to and would love to know what Fall fun you’re getting into.

3 — Vacation or Staycation

There is nothing like a getaway! I just went to Charlotte last weekend and the Bahamas last month, and had a blast! I have no idea where I’m going this Fall, but I do know I’m going somewhere. Where have you vacationed recently?

4 — Declutter/reorganize my home

I’ll be reading Marie Condo’s The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up this Fall, and it’s perfect timing as I plan to declutter and reorganize my home this Fall. As we prepare for the twins arrival in the Winter, we’re getting the house together — from working on nursery ideas, to throwing away junk and overall making our beautiful space work better as our family grows. I can’t wait to share the behind the scenes of my Fall home projects, to include a special closet renovation.

5 — Launch a project I’ve been working on

And speaking of the special closet renovation, it ties into a project I’ve been working on. One I’m very excited about (and a little nervous too) that is so closely tied to my purpose and passions. One I feel the glow getter gang needs, and one I hope you will love and that inspires us all. Stay tuned :)

6 — Finish my 2021 reading list

I’m so proud of myself for being on target to finish 12 books this year! Although, I’ve crossed some books off of the list for this year and replaced for others, I’m still keeping up with my reading goal and learning so much through each book. I plan to do a recap of the 12 books at the end of the year.

7 — Continue enjoying this pregnancy and preparing for the twins arrival

It’s so funny how life’s little and big surprises can change us in the most beautiful ways! I went from thinking our family was complete, to being surprised with 2 more children to love. And let me tell you, I’m already so in love with the twins. Since I can pretty much guarantee this will be my last pregnancy (I’m for real this time lol), I’m making sure that I’m remaining in the moment and enjoying each week I get to feel these little lives growing inside of me. Although pregnancy has it’s physical challenges that are even tougher with twins, it is still truly a beautiful experience. I’m grateful to be able to nurture new life and have fun while doing it. We’re currently going back and forth over baby names, working on nursery ideas, researching all the new gadgets and baby essentials, and all the things. It’s quite an exciting time for our family!

8 — Spend time with my family, friends and the glow getter gang

Simply put, spending time with my village brings me joy! I’ll be making more time for that this Fall for sure.

9 — Try something(s) new

From trying new restaurants and recipes, to watching new movies/shows, indulging in new maternity fashion and whatever else new peaks my interest, I plan to try new things. Often times we stick to the same routines and things, but it’s nice to switch things up when we can.

10 — Crush the remainder of my goals for the year

Last but not least, I wouldn’t be a glow getter if I wasn’t committed to achieving my goals. I started off the year with a clear vision (and vision board to match) and broke my goals out into quarters. I’m so proud of what I have accomplished so far, and I’m staying focused so I can finish out the year strong. Let’s finish strong together!
