Camp Quarantine: Summertime Reading with Book Love

Hey Glow Getters! Camp Quarantine is in full effect at the Tyson household. Who knew that my time as a camp counselor back in the day would come in handy now. The kids are enjoying lots of time outdoors running around being kids and riding their bikes, fun games, their favorite shows, and lots of welcomed leisure. The little things like a game of kick ball, popping a tent up outside and movie nights in the loft have honestly meant so much to them. While I wish this time could be filled with field trips and vacation, I’m doing my best to make summer still feel like summer for the kiddos. I would be lying if I didn’t say mom guilt hasn’t crept in during any moments where the kids may have felt somewhat bored, but I’m giving myself grace as I balance working 9 - 5 and my new job as camp counselor.

For July, I’m working on cracking up the fun-o-meter along with some enrichment as well because school will be open again before we know it. More to come on our schedule of our fun, but in the in the meantime, I’m excited to share about Cassidy’s BookLove box from Gillis Education.
