Bowtie Chicken Pasta Recipe

Pasta lovers, this one’s for you! I asked my husband recently what he wanted for dinner, and he suggested I try some type of pasta. The minute he said pasta, I immediately thought of Cheesecake Factory’s Louisiana Chicken Pasta, which I absolutely love. While I didn’t make a copycat version of that, I did pull a few ingredients from it to make a bowtie pasta of my own. Spoiler alert - it was a hit with my whole family!

When it comes to family dinners, especially on a weeknight, I gravitate towards meals that are easy to make and don’t take longer than an hour. Well, this recipe checked off both of those boxes. While I love cookbooks and googling different recipes, I decided to just wing a recipe by combining ingredients and seasonings I love — and it worked! I love bell peppers and spinach, so I knew those would be go to’s for veggies in the pasta. I also made a side of broccoli, using my go to recipe found here. Below are the details for you to try this pasta for next dinner or lunch.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6-8 chicken tenderloins

DIRECTIONS

  • Boil water and make pasta according to box.

  • Rinse chicken, then pat dry. Dip chicken in chicken breading and fry in a skillet with oil (flip on both sides) and cook until done. Set aside.

  • Chop garlic and bell peppers. Add oil to pan and sauté garlic, peppers, and spinach until done.

  • Add about a 1/2 to 1 cup of heavy whipping cream to pan. Add seasoning. Add pasta and stir together. Add more cream if needed.

  • Add parmesan cheese, then add cooked chicken, and top with scallions.

  • Enjoy!
